ENGLAND –

A Love Affair

Time spent with my mother’s family
in England holds some of my most cherished childhood memories. Whether surrounded by glorious delphinium and foxgloves in the idyllic countryside or neatly clipped hedgerows and topiaries
in town squares, I was always immersed
 in nature.

Time spent with my mother’s family
in England holds some of my most cherished childhood memories. Whether surrounded by glorious delphinium and foxgloves in the idyllic countryside or neatly clipped hedgerows and topiaries
in town squares, I was always immersed
 in nature.

I vividly recall helping my grandfather water the geraniums, fuchsia and hydrangea in his London garden and helping my uncle tend to his emerald green lawns and annual flower beds in Surrey. As we raked the leaves and filled the bird feeders, we took in both the impermanence and serenity of the natural world surrounding us.

My family also spent time in the Cotswolds, taking long walks through verdant fields, picking flowers and playing tennis on grass courts. We traversed the countryside exploring spectacular parks including Hidcote, Painswick, Sudeley and Highgrove Gardens. It was like time walking in heaven. To this day, England is my second home and I love returning with my own family.

Inspired by England’s vibrant blooms, I take pride and pleasure in sporting my own floral brooch creations. They bring me great joy and confidence, and I have long hoped to share that feeling with others. Now, collaborating with a fourth-generation, world-class floral atelier in New York, I am able to elevate my personal floral pieces to unique works of art that are meant to evoke the timeless charm and enduring resilience of a flowering garden.

I hope these botanical gems provide you with the same elevated sense of personal style and timeless sophistication they offer me. May you wear your brooch in perennial delight, and live your moment in full bloom.
